After an Excellent Workout

After an excellent workout,
the creative side overwhelms—
must be those endorphins.
I’m so easily distracted
by a simple word:
bubbles—
again.
A poetic Möbius strip.

Uncorked Champagne

Bubbles rising,
dreams entwining.

Blow them—bubble them up,
froth in a frenzy,
foam the whizzy cocktail’s whirl,
fizz in a fuzzy vision—
effervescently arising
into a lather of gentle suds.

Churn into a creamy cloud,
whip into wispy dreams,
froth a velvety blend,
crown it with a frothy peak—
an aerated, carbonated creation.

The brook beside my path
gurgles and bubbles over smooth stones,
a whispering song in the morning light;
my dreams meld like bubbles to heaven.

My thoughts of your simmering softness,
silk on a soft bed of warm bubbles—
oh là là, bubbles
pearling all over you.

Bubbles and dreams—
rising and popping,
melding in joyful cadence.

Both make me laugh with appreciation,
and love
for my Muse—
in a crescendo of laughter,
sky-bound dreams.

Bubbles and dreams,
a fizzy alchemy of happiness—
uncorked, endlessly entwined.
